Coverage for this type of thing changes from policy to policy. You either need to read your policy or speak to your agent about this.
I'm guessing that most policies are going to exclude all coverage outside the US and Canada. I could be incorrect.

I think the freight would have coverage for the car. Transporting and shipping companies are required to maintain liability coverage that would compensate the customers if any loss occurs to their items during transportation.
