Do I need to carry any Insurance?

I've a small laundry. The profit margins are very low. I have a family of three. Do I need to get any kind of insurance? What are the monthly expenses for the premiums? Just to know if I can afford. Thanks in advance.

To protect yourself and your family from financial ruin, you certainly should have a General Liability policy for your business. How much will it cost? You'll have to get quotes through a local insurance agent or broker.

Just to know if I can afford

You are looking at this backwards, liability insurance is something most business owners cannot afford to be without. But many are, nevertheless, uninsured and living claim-free only by the grace of God.

I would definitely get insurance for your business.

If your business isn't making enough to cover the costs of running it, I would consider selling it and finding another source of income.
