I believe you a referring to the supplementary health care insurance plans from Medicare?
If so, I've done some research in the past when I was helping my Grandmother find health insurance when she turned 65.
The best Medicare supplementary health insurance provider is by far Medicare. They have over 4.5 millions customers and tons of options for a plan that suits your needs.
There's a website that offers a free booklet on Medicare from Humana:
That will help you to see what they offer and why they are the best. My Grandmother is really happy with their service too, and although she pays a little extra than standard health insurance, she knows that she is covered for the unexpected.

| Also called Medigap, Medicare Supplement Insurance can cover some of the medical costs that are not paid for by Medicare. It's a great protection against high out-of-pocket expenses. |

Medicare Supplement insurance does not necessarily do what "medix" indicates.

| You can use this Guide to Medicare Supplement Insurance to make it easier for you determine your health care insurance options. Federal and state regulations currently require insurance companies to provide Medicare supplement policies that are limited to no more than 12 standard benefit plans. Each of the 12 plans must cover specific expenses. This guide will make it easier for you to compare plans and premiums. All 12 plans are not available in every state, and Massachusetts, Minnesota and Wisconsin have their own plans with different names, but the benefits are similar to the national plans. |
