Patrick and me just got married few months back. He has Anthem Blue Cross. We are 8 weeks pregnant and undoubtedly i’m at high risk. My husband is trying to include me on his insurance but would it cover me? I’ve asked few experienced persons and have been getting mixed responses. Even if it cover, how long would it take? Thanks in advance!

I think your husband needs to speak to his carrier about this and see if he gets to include you in his own policy.

You don't state whether the insurance "Patrick" has is group or individual coverage. Because you are already pregnant, a group policy might be able to exclude coverage. Under Obamacare, effective 1-1-2014, the insurance company cannot exclude it as a preexisting condition (except perhaps in a "grandfathered" health plan).
