I was involved in an accident a week back where the other driver involved was at fault. Now his insurance company has called me up to know in details about the damages I had suffered. This is my first instance where I am dealing with an insurance adjuster. Pls guide me on how to deal with insurance adjusters so that my claim gets addressed properly.

Advance thanks for any suggestion.

Company didn't want to send and adustor, when it first happened. Had me take pictures. Claim is close to two months old. Call to get status. rude adjuster tried to claim I said this and that. Claimed they are having trouble getting "comparible values, they don't use Bluebook. Claimed it would be two to 3 more wks. Now, I get a call saying they want to send out an "independent adjuster." Is this good or bad and what do I tell them. Paint was faded but not chiped. bumper had damage. roof, vents, etc. How much do I say that was there and what was storm damage?
