Second, it all depends on _why_ you fell. If she has a property policy she may have Medical Payment coverage to address _just_ your medical bills. She would have to have been negligent in order for you to collect under her liability policy. |

And third are you a resident of the household or part owner of the property? |

Homeowners medical payment endorsement comes to play under such circumstances. It covers the medical expenses of the people who are accidentally hurt in your property. And it applies regardless of the fact that you carelessness causes the accident. Therefore, you can collect the compensation irrespective of the fact ‘who was at fault?' you or your mother. But as tcope has mentioned you need to establish that the accident occurred due to her negligence if you want to collect under her liability coverage.
However, if you reside with her under the same roof then you may not receive coverage under her medical payment coverage. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

That is the problem with insurance claims.
There is always a way out for the insurer one way or another. |

There is always a way out for the insurer one way or another. | Where did this come from? They are legally bound to pay what they owe, and provide the coverages afforded in the policy...re: this thread, I think it's clear, if not a resident then med pay will pay..if there is negligence on the insured's part then that too will come into play if not...then no....that isn't an 'out'... _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
