I recently stayed at out of town motel where my nephew was having a football tournament. I was informed by coach that he kicked rock and broke glass door in motel and mgr. of hotel claimed they had $1000 deductible for these damages and the est. would be around $500. There were no adults present when the damage occured but two other children claimed my nephew did the damage. Would my homeowners cover this damage? thanks.

It would if you were the legal guardian of the child.

That was truly an unfortunate event. But it would need a lot of inquiries to get to the real fact!
