I have and am the original owner of 2001 Monte Carlo pace car # XXXX, It was recently totaled out, and a complete loss by a semi driver there insurance is taking liability. I have all the documentations and certificates from GM for the car, they have my name on them, this car cannot be replaced If anybody read these documentations GM states this certificate adds value to your car? So I need help what should I get for this car? No listings on kbb nothing out there. The insurance company is stating Due to the fact that it was a specialty vehicle it is taking a little longer. There is other cars out there but not with my name on it. It's the only one they made for me…#XXXX out of 1300..It could have been a investment.(don't want to post my car #) _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

Sure it would add value to the vehicle. How much... I doubt anyone expect someone who has suffered the same type of loss would know.
What I _can_ tell you is that I'd hate to be the adjuster handling that claim! |

It will take them quite a while to figure this out and surely you understand this because you can't even tell them the value.....try to be patient...they have you in a rental car right?
You might try and get a hold of someone at GM to see if they can help you at all in getting a determination of the value....sorry we couldn't be of any more assistance, as you are finding out it's a unique vehicle. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. Not one to add a url fuel to the fire, but I found online some retail price quotes for the Monte Carlo. Might not be as valuable as you think:

Asking for $16,400 retail with 52,000 miles. Hopefully this link will survive lakemen's vision!

Thank Ins teacher...I should've ask the question if it was 'truly' a pace car, or the many that they stamped and sold as a 'pace car package'. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake.
