hi....its for quite sometime that I have been thinking of asking something to our forum crew....Is it really possible to protect the heritage buildings from being nonexistent ? Is it really a difficult task for the government and the people ?

friends...lets not forget that the number of historic buildings are not too many. These buildings demand a higher degree of care and consideration than the modern ones because of their inherent and distinct series of values. All of these get counted while assessing requirements that ensure the supply of adequate levels of cover and protection.
In addition, the design and construction of historic buildings make them more vulnerable to damages, especially by fire and thus become more expensive to get repaired.

hi All !
As the famous saying goes that prevention is always better than cure , the loss of historic fabric is permanent even though the reinstatement works get carried out properly. Insurance coverages can only compensate the owners partly or fully in terms of the repairs or reinstatements whenever a loss to a historical property is caused.
Thus a proper connection between the numerious forms of insurance and the specialists' views should be attained to make sure that enough coverage is provided in relation to the perceived risks.

Guys.....I'm sure that this would fall under Property Insurance, which provides cover to the effects of physical damage upon the structure, fabric, fixtures and external features of a building or structure. However, other forms of insurance may also be needed to ensure that all the various interests and liabilities are protected including:
1) Contents insurance
2) Engineering insurnce
3) Consequential loss insurance
4) Gardens and ornaments insurance
5) Insurance against terrorism
thanks to all !
