Anyone need a good laugh. My Blu-ray discs from Amazon are being routed as follows by the USPS;
February 2, 2009 08:39:00 AM SANDY UT Arrival Scan
January 30, 2009 01:08:00 PM FEDERAL WAY WA Arrival Scan
January 27, 2009 08:33:00 AM PHOENIX AZ Arrival Scan
January 26, 2009 03:38:00 PM PHOENIX AZ Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit
So, they went from AZ to WA and now are coming back to UT. I guess they just wanted to see the country!
Estimated arriveal time _was_ 1/30... yeah, if they had not seen the entire western US!
Band of Brothers on Blu-ray for $35 shipped. Could not pass up on that.

Sometimes it really makes you wonder how these things happen. Personally I like the tracking system..the above information you listed never showed up in my last order until it already arrived...go figure

I LOVE amazon, buy stuff there all the time....always had good luck with shipping too..your discs will be better traveled than me for sure! :wink:
already made the move to 'blu ray' huh? wow-weeeeeeeee..(btw I also love the band of brothers!) do you have to have a special t.v. or player for those? (i'm serious I don't 'really' know what they are other than supposed to be better picture quality)

I ended up buying a PS3 partly because it has a Blu-ray player. While a BRD will display just fine on an SD TV, it's pointless not to display it on an HD TV as it would not look any better then a DVD. (DVDs are about 1/2 the resolution of BRD and in all fairness, about 1/4 better resolution can be seen).

I will agree. I heard of blu ray but not sure if I even get what it is...I don't watch much tv anyway. Someday maybe T-scope will update us all on the new age devices.
