I want to get a pet insurance for my dog.Can anybody inform me , what the standard pet insurance cover? I've also heard of vpi pet insurance? what does it cover?

I have a year and a half cat, a couple months ago he had a urinary tract blockage, the vet bills were around 1.000 dollars, with a pet insurance you ending paying just part of it...... If you are a pet owner, I think to save money in the future, pet insurance is a good idea !!!
