SIMON.........yep, ..if you put a teenage driver, I sure can understand why yuor Insurance rates would go up. However....I have a question. Is there a point in time where the Insurance company NO LONGER considers a teenager driver 'High Risk'? I mean, what if my son started driving my car at the age of 16. By the time he is 21, and has no accidents, would the Insurance company take him off 'High Risk'? Hope I'm explaining the question clear.

yes there is a point when a high risk driver doe no longer become a high risk...either is they become married OR when they have been driving for about 8 years...but also like I stated earlier it does not have to do with age...a 32 year old man can just for the first time get a DL and be rated the same as a 16 year old.....

also there is a driving level that once you hit 35 years Driving experience your rate will start to go up agaiin...since you ar getting older and your reaction time may not be up to par

I thought isurance was cheaper once you hit a certain age. I thought it was 25. I could be wrong but thats what I was told before. Any truth to that?
