The major insurance areas that you may cover working from home could be travel insurance, auto insurance, life insurance and health insurance. All you'd need to have is an online connectivity back home, so that you may communicate with your clients.

Hi..

There are quite a few other kinds of insurance policies that you may sell while you're working from home. But in order to create a good market you should concentrate on any one product first.

Once you have enough experience on your side, then you'd be in a better position to develop your home-based agency. Pinkfloydfan

Insurance carriers would prefer that you have enough knowledge about cars (body parts and their functions) if you wish to sell car insurance.
The same thing applies for a travel insurance seller. This happens since it is natural for someone knowledgeable to assess the needs of the client as well as their concerns.

I know there are a few major providers that you will not be able to land contracts with by working from home. Getting a small suite may be the way to go, especially in today's market.

Are you pointing to carriers who're operating across the U.S.? Are these carriers operating in Auto, Life and health only?
