I do come across information on accident or health insurance claim filing process across so many forums.

Now, I'd like to have more information on the documents needed while filing such claims.

I'm sure your insurance adjuster would pay no heed to your physical injuries unless he finds enough support in your medical documents. So, you'd need to have your medical bills and injury reports.

The value of your claim will largely depend on the worth of your medical bills. If your medical bills are worth a lower value, then your adjuster will assume that you were not hurt that bad!
Your medical bills are supposed to be higher with every visit that you pay to your doctor.

Bodily injury settlements are very much dependent on the medical reports. Don't forget to ask your doctor about it.

A good medical report would reflect those functions that you're you're unable to perform, the stretch of your disability as well as your chances of recovery.
