I would like to know if i could hire a contractor and aloe him to do all major work,roofing,a/c for acv and have him help me get recoverable depreciation for me to do all minor work without committing fraud and if i was to do minor work will he be allowed to get gco&p.

If the check has your name only, then I don't smell a fraud. But if it includes the repairer then you have to justify!
