I have an old misdemeaner assault charge from 2002 in Washington state. It was alcohol related and I have been clean and sober since without incident. The company who is willing to employ me does not see this as issue with licensing, however, I do not want to waste my hopes, time and money if this is a deal breaker. Is this going to prevent me from getting licensed?
