I have an ins claim going on, they are repairing my kitchen due to a pipe leak inside the wall. They had to take everything out except the frig. It will be at least 2 weeks for parts to come in. My daughter graduates in 15 days and we can't have her party here. We had to cancel everything because of no kitchen and mess from repairs going on. Can ins help with this in any way? It may sound petty to some, but it's not fair to my girl. Ins told me they don't do parties.

Insurance is just gonna cover you for losses that are mentioned in your paperworks. I do empathize with you, but then they don't need to care about parties. This time you'll perhaps need to celebrate it somewhere else.

Thank God that they're repairing your kitchen in time. These days people don't even get a good repair work done by their carriers so easily.

You had no other place to hold the party? No friends or neighbors willing to assist?
The insurance company is not responsible for your inability to party. They might be responsible if someone was injured at the party.
it's not fair to my girl.
Maybe a lesson in the realities of life is needed by all concerned.
