I was hit by a guy pulling infront of me as I was going my way. I hit my head to rearview mirror breaking it as well as cracking the windshield. My car, which was in very good shape is now totalled at the scene. They took me to the ER; I ended up with a broken radius and extreme pain in my head and neck. On top of that, I go to school and since it's the summer I have not been able to continue my internship. Now, I can't gain some experience as I'm losing the opportunity to do the important internship. I've become depressed, my hand is in a cast, my head hurts, and my life is turned upside down. Since it was the other person's fault, his insurance has accepted liability. How much should I ask for pain and suffering (not including medical bills)? Should I see a lawyer?? Please help

Well, when it comes to softer damages like this, it is your responsibility as a claimant to prove your sufferings. The adjuster would always be there to suspect that you're exaggerating, but then you may always strengthen your cause by showing your prescription for sleeping pills or medication etc. You may consult a lawyer, if you have good chances of getting reimbursed much more.

I think it is better if you consult a lawyer regarding your current situation and show them the prescription as a proof that you’re not exaggerating.
