Can my life insurance be extended after 80?

Can My life insurance be extended. Eyond the age of 80. I am 79!!

It depends upon the kind of policy you have. So, some more info regarding that will be a lot helpful the people here to understand and reply to.

Your insurance can be extended beyond 80 years if it is mentioned in your policy papers. You should not worry about that because there are many insurance plans which are there for the people above 80.

Not necessarily true. New life insurance for persons over age 80 tends to be low value and high cost . . . after all, these are persons who are very close to dying. Beyond age 84 or 85, it is nearly impossible to find.

Depends on the policy but policy change according to the company norms and conditions.
