Oh, come on - what is the expected range for
homeowners insurance on a $100,000 condo property? I am only researching, I DO NOT wish to speak with an agent/agency.

This is almost impossible to answer without a bunch of additional information. Getting approximate rates is dependent upon the answers to dozens of different questions regarding the property that an agent would ask of you.

I have seen Condominium policies run anywhere from $95 a year up to thousands of dollars in annual premium costs. Again, it depends on dozens of different concerns that could easily change the premium rate by hundreds of dollars a year.

I wish that I could give you some better info, and I hope that you understand the constraints that we're under here, especially since you specifically stated that you don't want an agent involved.

You may need to purchase coverage that would cover the property not covered under the master policy, including coverage for the commonly owned areas. Teacher is right the policy premium can vary widely depending upon the-locality, worth of the property and the like.

The condo insurance must consists the followings ,

Coverage to the building-wall, ceiling and floor. It may also cover any installation and alteration in the condo unit.

Coverage to the personal property- coverage for the item belongs to the condo owner.

Third party liability- would cover is someone gets seriously injured in your condo unit.

I think you can receive quotes even from the online sites. You only need to fill-up a form and supply the necessary information to obtain the quotes. A one liner isn't sufficient to receive the necessary information. And, that is why the agents always insist upon a face to face interview before you sign-up with them.
