Do I have to have my 15 year old limited jr. licensed driver on my auto insurance in NYS?

August, a few people were having trouble, if you are not then don't worry about it.

The drivers education programs are awesome, it puts kids in a controlled environment to learn how to drive. Wouldn't it be great to have that brake pedal on the passengers side of the car for other people too, like husbands, LOL. Just kidding, mine is a safe driver, nothing at all on the record anyway.

I did not know this but Pa does not require it but if you don't take it, you can not get your license until you are 18. Here is a cool link for drivers education, you can choose your state.

I tried your link Goodnatured. It is very helpful indeed.I put it on my favorites. Here is what it said for us(All drivers under the age of 18 must complete a four-hour Graduated Licensing education course within one year of obtaining a license, and all counties will have free courses provided by the Transportation Cabinet.) I think my 16 year old already did that at school. She had to stay after for something related to her driving for 4 hrs.I'm thinking that must have been it but it was done after school and before she got her license she still had her permit at the time.

I thought it was a very useful link, it covered a lot of good information on the OP subject. Hopefully she will come back to use it.
