Do I have to have my 15 year old limited jr. licensed driver on my auto insurance in NYS?

No doubt it is very expensive, and the parent can always chose to say, if you want to drive, get a job! Most states allow students to have jobs after school, they will get the working papers from their guidance office and they can contribute to the car insurance.

A teen would not have the free time on their hands then to get into trouble, LOL. They need to learn young that driving is a privilidge that they should be working for, no harm in putting the work ethic right along side it, since the bill would be higher because of their age, they can help pay it.

When I posted above it said I had made my alloted posts for the day and would not earn for this one. I checked and I only made 4 posts today .Does that mean we get paid for 4 posts a day now?

Thanks Lori .I went into my pms and was going through them and did not get to read them all .They disappeared. Did not get to read the ones from you and lakemen. So I am just assuming everything is fixed now. right?

I hope it is more than four a day. I am on my fourth one now will have to see what it says.

BTS,

Teen drivers can take a class in school that will help them lower their car insurance also, driver's education is now an accredited class that kids can put right into their curriculum.

I would not want to be the person teaching some of these kids how to drive, my nerves would be a mess, LOL. I know they have a brake pedal on their side of the car that can over ride the learner driver, but still, it would make me a mess. I feel for these guys, especially on the bad road conditions. Not the job for me.
