I was on short term disability from 8/4/08 thur 2/2/09. On 2/2/09 I was approved for LTD from my employer however at the same time terminated. My LTd benefits were approved for "own occupation" through to 2/2/11.
If I am not approved for LTD "any occupation" and my appeals are still denied...can I then apply for unemployment benefits in the state of Kentucky.
I also have a pending SSDI claim awaiting a ALJ hearing.
