Hi!

Here are some information, i have collected on the commonly spread health diseases in our homes.

I just want to know,

1. how much we are spending on these common diseases, per person ?
2. is there a health insurance policy that can help us to counter these common diseases?
3. are the therapies more expensive than that of that health insurance policy, if any?
4. to what extent can that health insurance policy help us to counter such diseases?

Finally can you suggest me the best way to overcome such unwanted diseases? Can we avoid them? How?

I know, i am here with loads of questions but i would really be happy if you help me with some genuine solutions... :D

Ok, that's easy....yes, most health plans would cover all of these with the possible exception of anxiety...some do not have coverage for emotional/phsycol. disorders...also of course if any are pre-exsisting then there is again generally an exclusion totally or for a couple of years...as to cost...well, anywhere from a dollar to 10k...really that is something you'd have to shop for ....sorry, but true...apparently you are looking for a 'private' policy meaning you don't have a group plan at yours or your spouses place of employment...so you will have to do some research and contact some agents that sell private health plans...hope that helps some...sorry I just wasn't getting what you needed..think we have it now?

Actually, the original list is not actually listing diseases. They are actually symptoms. Spiritual healing is quite unproven and not covered under conventional health plans.

An HMO will have the most coverage...check your employer, or contact a local experienced broker that has access to an individual HMO.

'it' meaning the list of ailments you have in your OP? yes...with the possible exception of the anxiety....ask of course, but yes, all should be ....remember though there will be an application and that application will inquire about prior health issues...

Where did you get this list? just curious. I don't see anything really serious on it and as previously stated, they all look like symptoms.

I would not call an insurance company up and ask them if a whole list of symptoms were covered though, I think that I would have them send me information on the policies they have to offer, investigate it and then choose a policy from there. To call and ask about a common list of symptoms may raise red flags, this is like asking do they cover the common cold, these problems could happen to anyone at any time, for any number of reasons.

As Lori said above you will have to go through a physical or application to identify the pre existing conditions anyway.

Now, if you are talking about specific, such as cancer or diabetes, then an insurance company will address it in a different way, some carriers have specific policies to address the more serious illness's and those policies will cost you a little more if you have habits that affect the illness, eg: smokers and cancer, they may even deny the policy be written.

Your are indeed correct Sil :)

Actually Goodnatured...i admit that these are symptoms but very often we are affected by these diseases. And for that we are spending a lot of money everyday...

Hi all..

As I can see from the table...that my back & neck problems could be reduced through a chiropractic treatment. Could anyone tell me about the different modes of treatment that a chiropractor would follow!

I'd fathom a guess and say nearly every person gets neck or back problems during their life. I'm relatively young and have my fair share of back problems, mostly stemming from a strain during a high school weightlifting session. Obviously that was somewhat self inflicted, but I have other problem areas and a problem doctors cannot diagnose because there are no visual symptoms.

I'm a strong believer in herbal healing, spiritual healing, and even meditation for healing. I think sometimes the healing process is truely beyond a doctors knowledge or reach no matter how smart they are. That could explain constant repeat visits.

Aren't chiropractic treatments generally temporary? I know they can relieve pain temporarily and I have been told it can improve drastically over several sessions.

Hi Diem, its truly good to know that you're a strong believer of spiritual healing. Would you be able sight a vivid example ?
Its more of listening to facts & then realizing the truth rather than trying to believe in such acts without any realization within oneself.

Thanks,
