I'm very glad that I have health insurance, because even though I am young I have many health problems. Not only that, but my 15-month-old son is now having health problems as well, and I can't imagine what we would owe already because of them if we didn't have health insurance.
I had known a lot of people, even young people, who were healthy and then suddenly starting having health problems. So I think really health insurance is a must for anyone. |

Health insurance should be available for everyone, not just health insurance, but good insurance that will cover all the expenses that are incurred by someone who has to go through a lot of diagnostic testing or someone that has a chronic illness that will need long term care. Many of the policies that are offered on television barely put a bandaid on a gaping wound. They sound good to those who don't have any insurance at all when in reality the don't cover anything.
I think that we need to come up with a way to make health insurance affordable for all employers big and small, it would be very cost effective if the person paid part of the premium. Mine comes directly out of my pay check and I don't notice it. I think that we need to examine what a group policy cost and come up with a way to make it affordable for the smaller employer group, this would be a great benefit for these employers to offer to their employees and greater incentive for them to stay, cutting costs or turn around in employees.
Yes I agree, I too am fortunate enough to have good health insurance, of course I pay for part of it. I pay a co-pay, but at least it is there when I need it. |

A lot of promises do come our way to get the group policy costs weighed properly in order to get them distributed amongst one & all but it is yet to be seen how much of it is actually gonnabe put into effect!  Billy-jane

| Would be great if we there would be coverage for everyone, I think it is possible if we got some of the major players involved to donate some money back for this cause. |

| Maybe we could form a group called "the uninsured" and go to an insurance company as a whole group and get the coverage we need as cheap as the employees do. They get it becasue of the quantity of people that are enrolled,right?Like a group rate?One person would be higher than 50 or 200 right? Correct me if I am wrong. |
