We've seen quite a few families filing for bankruptcy due to very high medical bills in the recent times. Many of these families had to do it even when they were covered. Do they have a way out? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

| I'd agree that some of us who're filing for bankruptcy may have been covered, but it's important to know if they have the right coverage. Such people are often found to be under-insured. It's always better to analyze your coverage needs before you apply for it. |

We just can't stay under-insured or uninsured when it comes to protecting our health.
If we're not working currently, we may always look for a state-backed plan. We might also check if our children will meet the state plan criteria. On the other hand, we've to see if we're over-spending on certain things that we may stop doing from now on. This would certainly help fit health insurance within our budget. _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |

Insurance consumers would often lose thousands of dollars through errors that come up in medical bills from time to time. It's quite important that you go through the medical bills and be sure of all charges that you've been billed for.
If required you may ask for an itemized bill. It would help you understand things in a better way. Also, you shouldn't hesitate to call your carrier and demand an explanation in the event you have a doubt. |

Many people who are under insured have problems because they focus on the little stuff and not the big stuff.
Unfortunately sometimes clients will want policies that cover them well for the little stuff and are willing to give up coverage for the big stuff because they can't imagine a catastrophic event happening to them.
The way I look at is if you are convinced that you will only have small medical expenses, you shouldn't buy insurance at all. If your policy has an annual cap on benefits or a low lifetime cap or only covers you in the hospital but not in the doctor's office you need to get a new policy. _________________ Free insurance sales lead SEO tips
