I have dealt with a few older veterans, I have found that veterans administration to take care of these veterans. They may have to pay for the car if they were not in a wartime situation, it is not very cheap but it does cover everyt5hing.

Thats not really fair what they do with the medical. All the veterans should have free medical as long as they served. Sometimes I think are country got all their standards mixed up. Just like the elderly and property taxes...thats another story though.

Sometimes with the veterans it is an issue that they are not near a va hospital, they have been setting up the clinics in outlying areas, we raised $10,000 to buy a van from the DAV, this fundraising has to happen about every five years or so. These vans are used daily.

Hi Trina

Welcome to the community

if a physician bills your insurance company that is not in your records is that fraud?

I think we can try to answer your query if you can be a little more specific. I mean, please tell us if you have taken the services of 'a physician' as mentioned and also if that physician is listed with the insurance company you bought your policy from. If the physician is listed with your insurer and you have taken his/her service, then the physician can very well bill your insurance company directly. In such a case there is no fraud involved unless the physician is billing your insurance provider for services that you have not taken.

Hope I could help :)
