Iam supposed to attend interview for mdical writing and another interview for meical underwriting can anyone clarify whats the difference between these 2?
Medical writing can be anything writing about medical stuffs, but, medical underwriting is a specialized process and requires underwriting professionals for the job. Are you an underwriter?
Medical writing is a special branch of journalism/writing and medical writers write on various medical issues on magazines/journals. You need to have writing skills as well as knowledge on medical issues to become a medical writer. However, I am not quite well off about this career prospect.
On the other hand medical underwriting is related to insurance. Underwriters are trained professionals, who undertake the job of ascertaining risks of insuring individuals and protect the insurance company from writing bad businesses.
OP I'm sorry I find it funny that you applied and are interviewing for jobs that you don't know what they are How did that happen? _________________ **************************************
