Well, if you are 'okay' with paying the unexpected & huge medical bills out of pocket, you may not need health policy, otherwise, health insurance is required by most to protect themselves against the contingent medical expenses associated with the health problems.

oh!! this is really a basic question.
one can protect one's hard earned money from total erosion when any crisis strikes such as hospitalization of any family member. so it is required that one should go for health insurance.
if one has enough money (tons of ) still it is advisable that he should go for health insurance as it will save his money for sure.  |

Health insurance is not a waste in my eyes. If we do not have the money to bear a one-time payment for our huge medical bills, it is surely better to get covered. We could thus lead a tension-free life and rest assured that there's at least someone to fall back on (when we'd need it the most!). Moreover by spending a small amount we'd be securing the lives of those who're closely associated with us.

Here is one thing I figured out after getting health insurance and it really is important. One thing goes wrong and it can lead to a slew of tests that costs lots and lots of money. Recently I have had problems with my stomach (distended abdomen) and I can not tell you how many tests I have already been through and still haven't an answer.
Now if you look at a explanation of benefits statement from an insurance company you would see how much cheaper the tests are if you have coverage. If not they are a lot more. It can save hundreds of dollars on just one test. If you pay 20% that can add up saving quicly iof you are insured. |

It's not always true, Yogesh, depending upon the policy the insured is required to bear a certain portion of the health cost in the form of co-pay or coinsurance. You can read more about these here. |

it won't be true in all the situations as in most of the cases (pregnancy) you
won't get claim for the medication if the waiting period is not over.Suppose
one lady has taken insurance 1 yr before and now she is pregnant it won't be
true that she will be compensated fully by the insurer rather some part of
payment has to be paid by the person who is going through medication

I thing you are not aware of imporatance of medicle insurance.In life ,if person get ill and if the disease are too big then you need to pay more money so this is big problem for you might be in big surgery you need lot of money that you can not pay for this then this is problem for you.If you have medi insurance then no need to worry about money , all amount will pay insurance company this is the way to secure your life.
But for woman mediclaim (insurance) is more beneficery & important.
Because in woman life many times she will do surgery or in pregnacy has too much expense so to make secure life always put your life in medicle insurance.
I thing this information is sufficent for you to understand what is importance of medi insurance in life.

well. think no one on this world can be always in good health and never sick. all person can suddenly fall into sick even got some terrible disease such as caner or so. but most of those unlucky guy should not have enough money to afford for the treatment。so it's better to insured your health for urgent case. good luck.

You would want an insurance policy to protect against the unexpected. Unless you can afford medical expenses out of you own pocket, a health insurance policy can pay for these substantial sums while protecting you from bankruptcy.
