I've often been suggested to go for shopping in order to obtain a good home insurance deal. I've checked a couple of offers and now I'm confused. Is there any other way to arrive at a better deal? _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

What are you confused about? Have you called some local agents? _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. I had talked with 2 agents a few days back. Both of them came up with offers that seemed quite expensive to me. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

most important thing when comparing rates between carriers/agents (IMO) is to make sure you are comparing apples to apples...ie EXACT same coverages, deductibles etc..What about the carrier you had initally? Are you just looking to save? Do you have ALL of your ins. with the same company (ie auto/home/life/whatever)? Most carriers will apply a decent discount for 'companion' policys...just keep looking and comparing that's about all I can think to tell you. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | I believe you could save your premiums worth 12% once you'd get your deductible raised to $500. |

Well, I guess this has already been told over many of our discussions- still, I'd remind you not to include the worth of your land while calculating your HO insurance needs. _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |

You might achieve some discounts if there are no smokers in your family.
There are more than 20,000 household fires caused by smoking hazards every year. _________________ Insuranceguy.ampminsure.org |
