What is the necessity of home insurance????......what is coverage available after home insurance........  |

I don't understand this sentence...''after''? 
Homeowners coverage is of course necessitated, just like a vehicle if there is a mortgage...The lender will require their interest be protected...but it goes farther than the dwelling coverage, your personal property is covered...there is med pay coverage, and also personal liablity coverage...most also will have additional living expense, as well as apertnet (i think i spelled that wrong) structure coverage....it would be fool hardy at best to be a homeowner (or renter for that matter) and not carry this coverage. (IMO of course)

Not sure what you mean by a portion? But yes would need (as far as I know) to be the entire dwelling...

| Actually i want to say.... I have kept some of my valuables in a separate room of my home. So to secure them, do i need to get the whole of my home insured or do i go for smethng else!!!.....plz suggest me the best option |

Are you saying that you OWN this home? or does someone else own it and you just need to get coverage on some special items? Let us know...and what the items are....If you do actual own (or are buying) your home...I can't believe you don't already have a home owners policy! Now you may need to get additional coverage for certain things...but honestly...this isn't real clear to me...
