Please excuse my semi-extended absence.  The work world called and I had to go out of town for about a month around the holidays. It was really tough. We're opening new markets and I had to go to some really lame places in, as you know, the middle of winter. 
They made me go to places no sane person would travel to in the middle of sub-zero season. I had to go to, get this...Honolulu. Then they made me go to Phoenix! And ya ready for this next one? Miami! Can ya believe the grief they put me through?
It was horrible! 85 degrees, horrible sun and blue skies, so many bikini-clad women I had to hide out in my hotel all day. By the pool...with a foo-foo drink in my hand...and the hotel girl putting sun tan lotion on me because she was nice and I was alone. Terrible, terrible things I had to witness... I was seriously disgusted at the debaucherous sights that lay right there before my eyes. It was so bad that I had to lay there for almost 4 hours!!! Then, finally, I had to go back to work. At least the day was worth something!
Sadly, I had to repeat this in every city I was in. So, my community friends, I ask for your forgiveness for my absence and your prayers that I recover from this degenerative business trip. Thank you for your time.

While you were gone, we picked up a few new moderators. Perhaps it's a good time for them to practice how to delete posts!

Yeah, I can understand the pain that you have undergone and I empathize with you

Welcome back InsTeacher,...you've a missed a few of my literary masterpieces that the mods decided wasn't worth 2 cents!

I've been a wonderin' about you my friend...so glad to hear that you managed to survive the pure hell and torture your employer put you though! Is there no end to what they expect out of one man!
