Hope you're asking about 440 license that's required for selling insurance. Please, elucidate your question little more.
However, presuming that you are asking about getting license, you can check out with the Chief Financial Officer of your state. As far I know that you are required to complete 40 hrs class to get the 440 license for one year.

Hi, you can obtain the 440 license by completing the state 'designation' program organized by the state department of insurance. However, with a 440 license you're required to work along with an insurance agent. To start up your own business or say to become an independent agent you have to obtain 220 license.

IMO asking the other insurance agents may help. they can tell you precisely where to get the information. Also, checking out with the insurance company may help. They can also guide you through the process on obtaining license on certain conditions.
