I would like your input.
For the last 5 years I have operated under the name Ed Hamilton agency. I am expanding my company in to consulting and realestate. I have established my self in the community and many refferal sources know me. Here is the question, I want to Change the name of the company.
The Name " Wheels Insurance Group" Wheels has always been my nick name due to my Motorcycle racing carrer. I am starting to build a branding plan for the name. Wheels Consulting, Wheels Real estate and Wheels Insurance Group. The main reason for the change is all my clients think they need Ed Hamilton to change an address, add a car and so on. When in reality I have not done that stuff in years.
We are a full service agency all lines. and the name screams auto insurance.
do you think the name matters that much?
do you think WIG inusurance work as well.
An I just going to confuse my market?
