Hi All,
Recently we joined one insuance Affiliate pogramme, and gave a try to Twitter to generate some leads by using our existing twitter channel. The results were great.
You will appreciate that trying PPC campaign for insurance is a costly affair, since the keyword phrases like "auto insurance", "homeowners insurance".. etc are costly due to high competition, and moreover we keep paying for every click, which may or may not result into a lead. Agaist this, Twitter is providing us almost permanent audience, and all our messages keep reaching them at no extra cost, and sometimes they hit us as well.
Surprisingly, we are getting more tahn 25% of our traffic through Twitter alone now.
