Hi Iwould like to know if i want to open up an Agent company what will be the requirement to me.

Before you open up an agent company (I wonder what you mean by that)...you must be properly licensed and appointed with the companies you will be representing.

If you are inexperienced...approach General Agency in your area and see what type of training you can get.

Hi,

The general rules that govern companies may be similar but there are also some rules governing commercial operations which are distinctively different owing to the state objectives. Thats precisely the reason why I'd like you to tell me which state you're in.

My friend, before you step out to open your own co. I'd like you to think, decide & tell us whether you'd like to work with Captive agents or independent agents. I think thats your first step. LeeBerger
