Their is a new social networking site for Insurance agents called agentzoo.com Really cool. I know their is a site called sexyinsurance, but the name is not to professional. Agent Zoo's parent company is Agent Builder Insurance service Inc, agentbuilderinc.com a good site for commercial insurance appointment leads.

Ken Adams, you are too funny. You are going on every forum promoting your own websites acting like you don't have anything to do with your own websites. You talk about your websites 3rd hand. agentzoo looks like a facebook account for insurance agents. Looks like a waste of time to me. You will get further on all the forums if you are honest about who you are and stop talking about your websites in third hand.

Self promoting or not, it seems like a cool idea to me, a good way for agents to network and communicate one on one.

It says on his website, that the software is from a dating website and he is just cheap to buy his own software.
It is free software that anyone can use. The site looks like a joke.

Actually the software was almost $1000 dollars. I have looked for a great social networking site like myspace and only found one. Sexy...well I am sure you guys have heard of it. But I am open for new Ideas. If you would like I would love to have this website in Agentzoo's link site. Let me know if this is ok

Whether it's good or bad would very much be determined by the conversion rate.

As far as places for insurance agents to network with each other, I think this forum is pretty strong. I think that a lot of people that go online looking for insurance are mostly looking for quotes and normally have some idea as to what they want / need. Whether a client would actually gain and trust information from a site like agentbuilder is questionable...but I could be wrong!
I do like the idea though for a large agency or network of agencies. |

I think it is always a good idea to network with other agents. Try and hang out with the successful agents.
We all can learn something from each other.

I think there are several other online sites available where the agents can hang out with each other. One may explore the proposed site to know the ways it's different from the other networking cites.
I'd second Chris, ampminsure.org offers just the platform that's required for the agents to interact with each other. An entire forum dedicated only to the insurance professionals. Further, the advantage with this community is that it also facilitates the consumers to interact with the agents directly, which is a feature absent with many other online insurance communities. |
