No, I'm not drunk, after all, it's only 3:35 pm.
Hello Everyone,
I'm excited about our new "Insurance Blogging" blog, say that three times in a row.
I have worked very feverishly in getting this blog up and running, so has Lakemen.
I feel that more people would blog if they actually knew what they were doing, so why did I start the blog? Anyway.
One of the traits of a successful person is that they try not to make the same mistakes as other successful people have. In other words, they want to make their own mistakes (new ones).
This blog is a work in progress, but there is enough information there right now to get you started.
(1) Deciding on a blog title
(2)Getting your blog uploaded to the server
(3)Developing a blog description.
If you feel you don't have the time, please visit the blog.
If you feel you don't have the knowledge, please visit the blog.
If you just don't want a blog, please visit the blog.
We will certainly need your help and input as this blog develops.
Our goal is to put ampminsure.org on top! Period.
Let's Blog!!
PS. The subject will make more sense once you visit the blog (I'm really not drunk.)
You did an awesome job, I commend you, it looks like you have put tons of work into it, you cover so much, congratulations on a job well done, you can pat yourself on the back for this one. Maybe, since you have set this up others will follow, you set up a really easy guide to follow, you are a real asset to this community.javascript:emoticon('')

Ok guys, I am just amazed to see how much hard work InsuranceMaze has been giving to his newest blog.
I am sure many of the community members have started taking blogging lessons from the blog already. Why dont some of you come forward and apply that knowledge that you are gaining into your own blogs!
I really look forward to setting more community blogs very soon.

Thanks guys and girls for taking a look at the new blog.
I just want everyone to know that this blog was created by an Insurance Community Member for Insurance Community Members.
I'm having a lot of fun with it, but my real insurance blog has been up and running for about three months, so I really didn't build this extra blog for me. It's simply FREE advice about what works and what doesn't work.
Some people had problems finding the elephant, I promise you, no one else will have that problem!! _________________
I went to the blog, how did you post all that information in one day, must have really put some hours in on that puppy. It looks wonderful and there is so much information there, so organized, you have a real talent.
I would not be able to do a blog, don't have enough computer skill to build something like that. or enough insurance knowledge to fill a page and then keep it updated with good information. kudos to you, I think you deserve reward for that one, I don't know how anyone could compete with it.

First of all, thanks for visiting the Insurance Blogging Blog. To be very honest, it took about 8 hours the first day to get the blog posted. I knew that if people went there, they would want instruction in creating a blog, so it just had to be there.

Look, when I first started publishing anything on the web, I knew how to turn my computer on and off, that's it. I wanted to do it, so I knew that I had to learn. I have become a little more familiar with how things work, but as far as "computer skills", mine are still very lacking.
I wish you had read some of the articles while you were there. The blog specifically addresses the fact that "you do not have to be in the insurance business to create and maintain an insurance blog". It is in the section "Planning to Blog", so if you're interested, please go back and read that article.

Again thanks, but the real reward would be when 10, 20, 40, 100 Community Members set up blogs. I think if everyone really realized how much this entire community would grow and how we could all benefit from it, more people would start a blog. The goal of this community is to be on page #1 of Google, period. The only way this will happen is for all of us to add valuable content to this web site. Everything that we do on a blog affects the main domain "ampminsure.org", because we become a part of it - http://blogging.ampminsure.org, or lifeinsurance.ampminsure.org, etc.
Since you appear to be interested, please take another look. We can all work together on these blogs. _________________
I am not sure how good my feedback would be but here is what I feel.

Is the blog easy to read?
You should try and lessen the no. of pages in the blog. May be you can do that by categorising the posts. I am not sure if people would like the idea of having too many pages. Too many pages would atleast confuse me!
I just think they are so time consuming, too time consuming for me, I will just go see his if I feel the need. They are constant updating and finding new information to post, all that. You did an awesome job and I hope that you do keep it up, you set a very good example for others here who may be interested in blogging. goodluck with this.
First of all erb1953,
I gave you some bad info in the previous post, the page I wanted you to read is "Blogging Basics", sorry.
Thanks andy007,

I addressed that same situation in the blog. Since all "posts" are arranged in reverse order (newest on top), I thought reading everything backwards would be confusing, but I'll work on it.
Hi goodnatured,

I certainly understand where you're coming from. I have a full-time job, volunteer in the community, have eight grandchildren, am writing a book, maintain six typical web sites, two blogs, I paint, and go to school. Time management is my worst enemy. This blog is four days old, that's all. Most of the time in blogging is spent setting up the "Admin" section. Maybe, it's like insurance itself, it's just not for everyone. If you should decide to blog, you will get all the help you can stand.
I almost forgot - Congratulations!!!!!! _________________
