I guess all archaeologists are considered to be within the high risk pool when it comes to insurance. They're probably on the same page with that of the architects. I'd still like to add more to my knowledge on Archaeology insurance.

In order to pursue your activities, you'd definitely need coverage. I guess the most important coverage that comes your way is the Public Liability insurance. It will protect you from lawsuits filed by public members.

You have some risks whenever you come in direct contact with public property or any member of public. Public liability coverage may not be mandatory but it's become quite a necessity for you these days.

Another notable thing that you should have is the Employer's liability insurance. EL insurance will protect you in the event you need to compensate your employees for any loss sustained while at work. It will also cover you for your expenses when you face a lawsuit.

In a class I TAd a year or two back I had a student in a similar situation to yours, or he had been. Incredibly smart, but with a very severe anxiety disorder that had set him back several years on getting his degree. He did find a way to deal with most of this though.
