Hello Insurance Company,
My exspouse recently passed in the state of Texas and my name remained listed as the beneficary to the life policy and his job company awarded me the money also after doing research for several months. His children filed a lawsuit requesting that I turn it over to the probate court for estate purposes. I spoken with several insurance agents and they said " it strictly belong to me and it can not be contested in court." Is yhis statement true?

If your name was there as the beneficiary, then legally, the money is yours. If the name of his children were there as the beneficiary, only then can they claim or sue you. Moreover, the proceeds from the policy cannot be claimed to be used for the purpose of the bill payments or the real estate purposes.

Yes, it's true. The policy payouts cannot be contested in court.
You were paid since you are entitled to receive all the money. The estate was not named as the beneficiary - You were.

Of course the payment can be contested in court. Success is a different story.
