Does anybody care financially if you die today? If not, will anybody care financially if you die in the future?

If either answer is "yes", you should buy life insurance.

It's not a question of which is "good". They are all good for somebody. It's a question of what is appropriate for you.

I'm NOT saying not to get Life Insurance..it sure would help with our Final Expenses. However...(looking on the 'other side' of it..) I've seen plenty of families 'broken' because of Life Insurance. I mean, as soon as family members found out there is money involved, and disturbuted, at the time of death, that's about ALL they care about....how much are THEY going to get, etc? Sad to see. The PURPOSE of Life Insurance is to provide for your loved ones, especially your children.

GARRY4...want to say 'glad to meet you'!!! Very Happy There are families who are NOT 'money hungry'..this is true. They actually do have some sort of 'family moral and value'. It's just sad to see that the money ( in some cases..) is most important issue than the deceased family member.

Whether or not you should get life insurance depends on you.

Do you have anyone who relies on you for financial support? Do you have money to pay for your final expenses? Do you have a family?

It depends on your personal situation. If you have people who rely on you for financial support, then life insurance can help to replace your income if you die.

The right type of life insurance depends on your personal situation and your goals for your life insurance. What do you want your life insurance plan to accomplish?

Make sure you meet with a licensed life insurance agent to review your personal situation and discuss your options.

Type of insurance should never be the first step. Amount of coverage needs to be the first step.
