I fail to understand what stopping you from contacting Aflac and inquire about the policy. You have the policy holder's name and also the name of the company. You should ring up Aflac's office at the next available opportunity.
What do you mean by the 'family is keeping the policy from you'? Is the policy holder dead? How long it has been since he died? |

Darelen, do you have the idea who the agent has been of your husband? Was the policy through his employer? If so, you can then contact his employer and get the details of the policy.
Further, if you truly are the beneficiary of the plan and the death of the insured has been reported to the company, it would have contacted you by now. The life insurance companies are obligated to pay the death benefits only to the named beneficiary. _________________ Register Now to have your Insurance queries solved. |

What is your relationship to David? Has he died? Does he have a wife, kids, siblings? We need more information to help direct you to the right place.. _________________ "Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well being of a person or animal is at stake. | Darlene williams "reason to believe” is not correct way to assume that you are the only primary beneficiary on the contract. You should confirm with Insurance Company, and while visiting to insurance company it is advisable to take your ID proof and your relationship document with the owner if any. |

Hi darlene
Have to tried to contact Aflac? Is David dead? Ideally if this is the case and if you or your son have been the beneficiary, Aflac should have contacted you. I believe if you can contact the insurance provider and tell them what you think, they might help you out with the name of the beneficiary.
Lori is this reasonable? Can the insurance companies reveal the name of the beneficiary in a certain individual's policy? _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |

That's right, (what they said )
Just rest assured, if you are one of the beneficiaries, you will be contacted. It may take longer than you would like for it to be (i think it varies on the time insurance companies have to present themselves to you). Look up the insurance guidelines for your state to find this information.
Nobody can really keep you from this information, if you are listed on his life insurance policy to recieve a benefit, it was his choice. Now if his wife has children by him, they could take you to court if they wanted to, but i wouldn't know how successfull that would be.
This is of course considering he's dead. But i would call the insurance co. and simply ask them if you are indeed listed on his policy to ease your mind. _________________ Protect your family and assests with quality term life insurance. |

firstly, what is your relationship with the person mentioned. and is he dead or alive? if he's dead, how long has it been? what evidence do you have that the policies were kept from you? and do you know the insurance company involved?
if the person is dead, and you know the company involved, do call them and ask if you're listed in his policy.
like domcha said, i dont think anyone can really keep you from this information. the company should ring you up if you are one of the beneficiaries. but if you're not convinced, just give them a call. |

Well well, so that's what Darlene wanted to find out. A 'yes' or a 'no' is a fair answer. She can take her next steps once the first step is done _________________ AmPmInsure Blog |
