What is the availability of life insurance for hiv patients? Are there any other Life Insurance companies that will insure people with HIV? Please advise.

No medical questions – Yes, even someone with terminal cancer, HIV/AIDS, or Alzheimer’s Disease can qualify.
Reduced Death Benefit for the first 2 to 3 policy years – Accidental deaths do pay out the full face value.
Whole life insurance with guaranteed cash value accumulation
The only restriction is that you cannot currently be refined to a nursing home or skilled nursing care facility.

Forget the guaranteed issue garbage. Two major carriers have are now writing traditional life insurance (term and guaranteed universal life) for applicants testing positive for HIV. Prudential is offering 10/15 year term however Symetra Life has a better product with their GUL. Granted, the insured will be highly rated (increased cost of insurance) if approved but still a better deal than guaranteed issue. Coverage can be structured to go for 10 years or longer up to age 100+. There are strict criteria to get approved however this is a very positive step for people living with what is now a chronic illness, not a terminal one. Post a reply for more details if interested.
