| I HAVE 1 LIC POLICY WICH IS BEEN SLAPED IT WAS OF ONE LACK MYEMI WAS 3164 AFTER AVREY 3 MONTH I PAID 5 EMI BUT DUE TO ACCIDENT I WAS ON THE BED REST I SATRED LIC BACK 6 YEAR NOW IN 2007 MY LIC DURATION WAS COPLITDE BUT WHEN I GON TO LIC THEY TOLD ME PAIY 24000 & THEN ONLY I GET MY MONEY BUT THE FAICT IS I DONT HAVE TAHT MUCH MONEY & I NEED THAT MONEY VERY MUCH FOR MY MUMY PLEASE HLEP ME TO GET THAT MONEY |

WHAT??????????? no one is going to help you get any money...if that is what you are asking???? if there is an insurance question in there some where...have someone help you phrase it better so we can understand what on earth you are asking...

Hi Lori...since I've indian ancestors...might be I could just try & rephrase it somehow 
I believe the problem is somewhat like this-
This gentleman had a life insurance policy (with the LIC) which has recently lapsed after covering for its 6 years-term. His coverage was worth 1,00,000 in indian rupees (indian-currency). He was supposed to pay some Rs 3164 worth of easy-monthly-instalments after every 3 months. He could just pay 5 of them, since he was in bed for a long time after meeting with an accident. Now, once it lapsed in 2007, LIC has expressed their desire to reimburse him only after he pays his deficit worth Rs 24000. He does not have that money, which he needs since his mother is not too well. He wants to be helped & guided in this regard.
Now, I'd request Mahesh to help me rectify if I got it wrong somewhere!
But, what I did not get from the above post is - why on earth his life insurance policy would pay him now that he is not dead within the coverage period? (No where did he mention that the cash-value has matured)
With the level of comprehension he shows up, I have this feeling that it might just be that he wants LIC to renew his coverage (which they feel won't be possible unless he pays a certain amount)!

Much obliged ArindamSenIndies for the translation! I'll leave it to you to advise the OP....I'm with you though, if it is a death benefit, there would be no payment until, well there is a death....could it be that if he doesn't pay it and it lapsed then to reinstate it would be either impossible or cost a lot more?
I'd say the OP needs to talk with all his friends and family in an attempt to gather the funds he needs...

To me it seems the same thing..
Mahesh, do you want back the money you paid them?
Or is it that you want them to pay you a proportionate coverage-benefit for all your instalment-payments till date?

Hence, I'd still feel that you'd be able to think better & help better-
when I tell you that this gentleman wants all his premiums back or the death-benefit on a pro-rata basis. Is this at all possible under any circumstances? What do ya think?

Its true...that I'd been to India..& w'd still run to-n-fro!
Still, before commenting any further, I'd like you to go through my article -'Life Settlement options for you' & also know more about the selling of insurance.
Once, you've done a fair bit of research on this process, only then may be you could call on your claims-division & enquire about such a possibility!
I truly believe, the insurance operations in developing nations are somewhat restricted within a certain segment of the society (even though countries like India do have a huge chunk of their population yet uninsured or under-insured).
Once you go through your policy norms & know the vision of your carrier (LIC) regarding this reimbursement (any further), please get back to us!
