Hi..what could be the key fields in such a record? Well, I'm sure if it could be generated, it would surely give us an idea of how many of them are actually covered through such programs. Also, we might come to know about their health track record. Steven

As much as people are worried about confidentiality and the protection of privacy, electronic medical records could help revolutionize the way health care is delivered. One challenge that healthcare providers are dealing with is continuity of care. It is unbelievable how many doctors an individual may see, and most of them will treat them differently. Lower income families, in particular, tend to move from area to area and as a result see many different physicians and clinics. Things like vaccination records, pertinent medical history, and allergies are often lost in the shuffle.

The more I start to type about this, the more I realize that I should probably write an article on this (way too long for a post!) I'll post a link shortly!
