how do i find name of life insurance company on my brother that pass if he left meself and kids something also how can mom find out the poilicies my brother take out on mom

Hi Cathy, you can check with the Medical Information Bureau (MIB). But they would charge fees for the information.

However, you may begin your search at home by asking the family and friend. Also you should go through the papers and bank documents of your brother. You may find the name of the insurance company on his bank statement if the premium payments are made from the account.

I am totally in tune with Jeremy. I am sorry about your brother. Bank statements can be helpful in looking for a policy. You can check for any premium payments that your brother might have made from his account. Does your brother have any other policy that you know of? A home owners policy of instance. If you do then you could contact the company to find out if your brother had life insurance with them. Get hold of where he kept his important phone numbers.
