So, what is the problem? IMO the question should be, who do 'you' want to receive the money, new wife or the ex? The call is really yours.

However, I agree with Firey, more information is required to frame a better reply. Your question hardly makes a sense.

Is the ex-wife the owner of the policy? Is the husband required to maintain the policy on the ex-wife as per the divorce decree?
