I'm a first time homer buyer and I'm about to gets quotes for home insurance and I was wondering what are some of the best and affordable companies to go with????

There is no ONE Best insurance company for every type of home and person. Each company will have their own specialty. Some companies are competitively priced on new homes, some on old homes, some like homes in city limits, some like rural areas. It is always best to contact an independent agent and get quotes

| Just to elaborate on the last post, an independent agent is an agent that represents multiple insurance companies. They have the ability to shop around and get you the best price and the best coverage. |
