Hi all I would like to know that Can homeowners insurance help if you were held hostage in a home? Thanks for any comments!

Home owners Insurance would not be able to help you in a hostage situation. You should call 911 in that case.
Home Insurance does not provide coverage for illegal or criminal acts. But if your home was damaged as a result of the hostage situation, your home insurance property coverage should still provide coverage for those damages.
