Help in how to stop insurance from cancelling home policy

Hi We own a house in DC the home was build 1909 rhode house with 3 floor the west side wall on the 2nd floor has collapsed (brick wall) they insurance will not cover the damages of the claim. and we have sturctural damage coverage and now they are cancelling our policy.. claiming that its abandonment when we are still in the home .

can they just cancel my policy ?
What can I do to Stop Them.?
